The Baseline is an independent fact-check desk that measures political claims against the empirical record. Each check quotes the claim exactly, tests it against primary sources, and publishes the receipt — the same standard for every party. Verdicts come from a fixed scale: True, Mostly True, Misleading, Missing Context, False, Unverified.
