Trump was told by the reporter himself that he worked for Reuters, and Trump then called the outlet 'terrible,' confirming he identified the reporter as a Reuters journalist.

According to HuffPost and TheWrap, reporter Jacob Bogage told Trump directly, 'I'm with Reuters, sir,' after which Trump responded 'Reuters is terrible, by the way,' showing he acknowledged and asserted the reporter's affiliation with Reuters. PBS and The Guardian also independently identify the reporter as being from Reuters, corroborating the exchange. This supports the claim that Trump asserted the reporter worked for Reuters.
