Registration deadlineOctober 4, 2026Register online, in person, or by mail (postmarked) by Oct. 4, 2026 (30 days before). Same-day registration applies to presidential races only, not the 2026 midterm.
Mail-ballot request deadlineOctober 24, 2026
Mail ballots first sentOctober 9, 2026By-mail ballots are sent starting 25 days before Election Day (Oct. 9, 2026). Mail applications must be received by Oct. 24 (10 days out); online/fax applications by 5 p.m. Nov. 2.
Return rulePostmarked by Election Day and received within 10 days (by Nov. 13, 2026)
Early in-person votingOctober 19, 2026through November 3, 2026 · Early in-person voting begins 15 days before Election Day at designated locations; hours vary by location.
