Mail ballots first sentSeptember 19, 2026Mail-in absentee voting requires a qualifying excuse (in-person early voting is no-excuse). Ballots are mailed to approved applicants beginning 45 days before Election Day (Sept. 19, 2026; Ind. Code 3-11-4-15). Applications must be received by Oct. 22 (12 days out).
