Registration deadlineOctober 13, 2026Register online, in person, or by mail (postmarked) by Oct. 13, 2026 (21 days before) to receive a ballot for this election. Oregon has automatic DMV registration; no same-day registration.
Mail ballots first sentOctober 14, 2026Every active registered voter is mailed a ballot; counties mail between 20 and 14 days before Election Day (Oct. 14-20, 2026; ORS 254.470). Out-of-state and military/overseas ballots go out earlier.
Return rulePostmarked by Election Day and received within 7 days (by Nov. 10, 2026)
Early in-person votingOctober 20, 2026through November 3, 2026 · All-mail state; in-person assistance and voting at county elections offices, required from Oct. 20 (some counties from Oct. 14) through Election Day. Drop sites open by Oct. 16.
