Mark Gordon was born on March 14, 1957. The National Governors Association gives his birth state as New York and lists Middlebury College as his school. Its biography says he grew up on the family ranch in Kaycee, Wyoming.
Gordon served as Wyoming state treasurer from October 2012 until January 2019, when he was sworn in as governor. He was first elected governor in 2018.
