Mail ballots first sentOctober 5, 2026Absentee ballots are mailed to applicants beginning 29 to 25 days before Election Day (Oct. 5-9, 2026; O.C.G.A. 21-2-384). Applications must be received by Oct. 23 (11 days out).
Return ruleMust be received by close of polls (7 p.m.) on Election Day
Early in-person votingOctober 13, 2026through October 30, 2026 · Early voting begins the fourth Monday before Election Day (Oct. 13, 2026, following the Oct. 12 holiday) and runs through Oct. 30, including two Saturdays; Sunday voting varies by county.
