Background

Biography

Victor Marx is a former enlisted Marine and a former martial arts instructor who is based in the Colorado Springs area. He is an author and motivational speaker and is the founder and president of All Things Possible Ministries, a nonprofit that describes its work as combating human trafficking and supporting at-risk populations; its headquarters and training facilities sit on a property in Colorado Springs. He had not held elected office before entering the 2026 race for Governor of Colorado, which was open because Governor Jared Polis is term-limited. In the June 30, 2026 Republican primary he ran against state Senator Barbara Kirkmeyer and state Representative Scott Bottoms. Kirkmeyer led on election night, Marx moved ahead as later ballots were counted, and the Associated Press called the race for Marx on July 9, 2026, when he led by 2,516 votes. He faces Democrat Phil Weiser, the state attorney general, in the November 3, 2026 general election.
