Brad Finstad is a Republican who represents Minnesota's 1st Congressional District, in the House since August 9, 2022. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2008 and was Minnesota state director for USDA Rural Development from 2017 to 2021.

Biography
Brad Finstad was born in New Ulm, Minnesota, on May 30, 1976. He graduated from St. James High School in St. James, Minnesota, and earned a B.S. from the University of Minnesota. He worked on the staff of Representative Mark Kennedy of Minnesota from 2001 to 2002, and was a farmer and an agriculture consultant and executive.
Finstad was a member of the Minnesota state house of representatives from 2003 to 2008 and Minnesota state director of United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development from 2017 to 2021. He was elected as a Republican to the 117th Congress by special election to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Representative Jim Hagedorn, and has been reelected to the two succeeding Congresses. His House service dates from August 9, 2022. He represents Minnesota's 1st Congressional District and sits on the Agriculture, Armed Services and Small Business committees.
