Biography

Mike Mazzei is a businessman from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the founder and chief executive of Trinity Strategic Wealth, an investment management firm. He was first elected to the Oklahoma State Senate in 2004 and represented Senate District 25 for 12 years, chairing the Senate Finance Committee for about a decade. In the June 16, 2026 Republican primary he finished in a nine-candidate field with about 26 percent of the vote, roughly tied with Attorney General Gentner Drummond, which sent the race to a runoff. In the August 25, 2026 runoff Mazzei defeated Drummond by just over 2,000 votes, receiving about 186,000 votes, and became the Republican nominee. He faces Democrat Cyndi Munson, the Oklahoma House minority leader, in the November 3, 2026 general election.
