Sheri Biggs was born in Mississippi on March 28, 1970. She graduated from Kosciusko High School in Kosciusko, Mississippi, in 1988, graduated from Carolina Bible College in Anderson, South Carolina, and earned a D.N.P. from Samford University. She served in the Mississippi Air National Guard and worked as a nurse practitioner and a nursing home administrator; her congressional office describes her as a lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard.
Biggs was elected as a Republican to the 119th Congress and her House service began January 3, 2025, representing South Carolina's 3rd Congressional District. She serves on the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
